Betyy inside Claude or Codex

If you already work in Claude or Codex, you do not need to switch tools: add Betyy Intelligence and bring Betyy’s methods and your Betyy account connection to where you already work.

You install it from a computer. On your phone it only works if you open the Claude or Codex app with the same account where you installed it and that app offers installed plugins or connectors.

  • With your own Claude or Codex subscription.
  • No Betyy desktop app and no API keys.
  • It does not require Managed or Business.
  • The first time, you sign in to Betyy and approve access. You can withdraw it whenever you want.

For Claude Cowork you need Claude Pro, Max, Team or Enterprise. Your organization may restrict plugin installation.

In Claude Cowork

  1. Download the .zip and do not extract it.
  2. Open Claude on your computer and go to Cowork.
  3. In the sidebar, open Customize → Plugins and upload the .zip.
  4. Open the installed plugin and check that the betyy skill and the betyy connector appear.
  5. Start a new conversation.

The first time a task needs your account, Claude opens your browser so you can sign in to Betyy and approve access.

Claude Code or connector only

Extract the .zip into a permanent folder named betyy-cowork. From the folder that contains it, run:

claude plugin marketplace add ./betyy-cowork
claude plugin install betyy-cowork@betyy

Then open Claude Code again.

Connector only, without the local methods:

claude mcp add --transport http betyy https://api.betyy.co/workspace/mcp

Then type /mcp inside Claude Code to sign in.

Betyy for Codex

Codex with Plugins

Codex with Plugins. Installing it takes one terminal command, typed only once.

In Codex

  1. Download the .zip and extract it.
  2. Rename the folder to betyy-codex and keep it somewhere permanent, such as Documents. Codex uses it: do not delete it.
  3. Open a terminal (PowerShell on Windows, Terminal on Mac). Type this command with a space at the end, drag the betyy-codex folder into the window and press Enter:
    codex plugin marketplace add
  4. Close and reopen Codex. In Plugins, find Betyy and add it with +. Or from the terminal:
    codex plugin add betyy-codex@betyy-native
  5. When Codex asks, accept the betyy-contexto and betyy-fin hooks, then start a new chat.

Early access: this is a development build and it may change. What you look up from Claude or Codex is also processed by them, under their terms. Review or withdraw access at any time in Applications, in your Betyy account.

What happens after you install

You install it once. After that, Betyy looks for its updates on its own and tells you before installing them.

  1. 01Open the installer and follow the prompts. Windows may ask you for an extra confirmation.
  2. 02Create your account and verify your email. Betyy for your computer stays free, whether or not you subscribe to a plan.
  3. 03Connect your own AI account: your ChatGPT subscription or another provider, such as Anthropic. Betyy walks you through it the first time.
  4. 04Hand it a task you already recognize, with your own files.

The free product is the product

Betyy on your computer is not a demo or a cut-down piece: it is the complete program. Downloading it does not activate any subscription and you are not asked for a card.

When you create your account and verify your email, Betyy for your computer becomes available at no cost, whether or not you subscribe to a plan.

What you need to get started

  • A task you already recognize. Something you would know how to judge when you see it finished: a report, a summary, a set of answers.
  • Your materials. The files, the notes or the previous example you want it to work from.
  • Your own AI account. Betyy works with your ChatGPT subscription or with an account with another provider, such as Anthropic, and walks you through connecting it the first time. Online AI models and Meta charges are paid directly to your providers.

You do not need to connect your channels or set anything else up to find out whether it is for you.

Does it work on Mac?

Betyy for Mac is in beta: for Macs with Apple Silicon (M1 or newer) and macOS 14 or later. The first time you authorize it by hand, and the guide walks you through it.

There are no automatic updates during the beta: download each new version again from here.

The app installs on a Mac or Windows computer. From your phone you can use Managed in your browser, with nothing to install. When does Managed make sense?

Betyy works with you, on your computer. If you also need your WhatsApp handled and your posts going out with your computer off, that is Managed: you subscribe to it and use it from your browser, with nothing to install.

The first 7 days cost US$1; then US$49 a month. A card is required from the start.
